BrightWolf recently had to pull together a quick response web streaming Q and A for MyWay Digital Health. My Way Digital health were running a free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for those diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The course was an offshoot from their MyDiabetesMyWay brand and was a response to the COVID pandemic. People with diabetes were finding some of their services cutback just at a time when they were more at risk from being affected by coronavirus. As part of this course, they were keen to run a Q&A session in the evening for attendees. The attendee would either use a hashtag on twitter #understandingtype2 and write a question or ask a question straight into the live stream on Facebook. We ended up setting up a simple studio with lights, camera, and sound. This was then fed into some mixing software and outputting it via a streaming aggregator to Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. BrightWolf is always at the forefront of new and developing software and this was only possible by the technical knowledge and expertise we have in-house. We were also able to advise on structure and methods for collating responses and feedback from those taking part.

Over 2000 delegates signed up with around 800 live viewers to the video streams. Following the live events, a quick edit was performed in BrightWolf’s suites and then uploaded as content for the next day of the course.
